TRB hosted the military delegation of Namibia, headed by General Namupala Theophilus and on this occasion, negotiations were underway on the possibility of extending and improving existing cooperation that was established two years ago.
Business with the Ministry of Defence of Namibia is currently based on providing services for the civil sector; this visit was focused on furthering this long-term cooperation, as well as expanding the services TRB can provide.
TRB’s experts are working on training personnel in Namibia, at the same time they are working on the design and transfer of production technologies. The Delegation of Namibia had the opportunity to visit TRB’s plant and become familiar with the facilities, production capabilities and the scope of the service deliveries.
“This is a very important visit for us and we are thrilled at the possibilities of the company we work with and we intend on expanding this cooperation further”, said Theophilus. He added that their country would like to learn and use the knowledge and experience of TRB’s experts and they also would like to develop new technologies using local knowledge.
During the visit the delegation expressed great interest in the new products that will enable TRB to further expand on its products and services.The expansion of production and services will further the development of the plant in Bratunac, which in turn will enable the creation of new jobs and the overall expansion of business for TRB.
A new visit from the Namibian delegation has been announced, during which negotiations for the expansion and improvement of cooperation will continue.
